CUTHNA ANTIQUA
based in one of the European's history architectural pearls - former silver mining city of Kutna Hora, taking the name of first miners' colony, Cuthna Antiqua is an early music consort, which provides historicaly accurate intepretation of the renaissance and baroque music on the original types of instruments. The consort is playing soloist instrumental repertoire as well as provides an accompagnement of the various other soloists and vocal ensembles and it is very flexible to play in diverse casts. Also, the players are able to accompany different sorts of social events like weddings or receptions, for which the baroque music developed a particular style called musica ad tabulam.
